Darren’s passion for building design and construction has lead to a long association with the industry.

From the beginnings of joining his father’s design practice, the foundations of design and technical skills were honed. Darren ventured out on his own as a founding director establishing a leading design and visualisation practice based in Melbourne CBD.

With a change to a slower lifestyle, Darren returned to the foothills of the great divide, and Yarra Valley where he has since worked on the executive team with one of Victoria’s prominent construction companies and now as founder and design principal for DCS Design.

Along the journey, Darren has been recognised with Building design awards, has been published, served on the board and as Treasurer of the industry’s leading association the BDAV. Darren also spearheaded his business push into the middle East as Managing Director, Orbit Middle East and has worked as an executive within the construction industry.

With experience in Business, Tourism, Marketing, and of course Building Design and Construction, Darren brings many facets and areas of knowledge to the client’s brief. Which is to deliver an outstanding design response for the dream house, lifestyle and rural accommodation, alpine apartments, multi-residential project, commercial development and to public and community buildings.
